JAMMU, Jan 1: The Department of School Education has ordered suspension of Prem Nath, Incharge Principal Higher Secondary School, Pragwal, for his unauthorized absence since he was transferred and posted at HSS Balmatkote in May 2015.
As the erring Principal failed to comply with the transfer order as well as the instructions, issued vide Government order number 327-Edu of 2015, dated 10-07-2017, directing all transferees to join their new place of posting within stipulated period of joining, the action was initiated.
Pending inquiry into his unauthorized absence, Prem Nath is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect, says an order in this regard, issued yesterday by Commissioner Secretary School Education Department, Shaleen Kabra.
During the period of suspension, the officer shall remain attached with the office of Chief Education Officer, Reasi, the order further says.
