JAMMU, Apr 2: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Pritam Singh here today started blacktopping work at Hari Vihar Colony in Ward 55. The work will be completed at a cost of Rs. 28 lakh and will cover all the major blacktopping works in Ward 55.
After starting the work, Pritam Singh along with AEE and JE of JMC visited the Ward and its adjoining areas and met the locals who raised various demands like construction and renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes etc.
The Councillor assured that all the genuine demands shall be redressed in a time-bound manner.
He further said that development work going on at adjoining area of Ward 55 is already being completed at a fast pace with the cooperation and support of the people of the area.
Parshotam Khajuria, Kamal Choudhary, R.S Sodhi, Shalinder Singh, Neeraj Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Yashpaul, Rohit Khadotra and others were also present on the occasion.
