UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: Municipal Councillor of Ward number 1, Priti Khajuria here today inaugurated two newly constructed lanes in Bharat Nagar area.
The work of these lanes was completed at an expenditure of Rs. 8.17 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Priti said that construction of a protection wall was necessarily required before starting the work of lanes and it was done at a cost of Rs. 4 lakh while the construction work of lanes was done with an expenditure of Rs. 4.17 lakh.
“I always tried to get all the developmental works done well in time and for that I keep on making efforts every day so that people can get relief but developmental works are such that they never end,” she maintained adding: “Continuous efforts are being made by me so that people can get relief.”
The people of Bharat Nagar said that they expect more from the Councillor Priti and lauded her working style of reaching out to the most neglected section of the society with welfare measures.
Prominent among whose present on the occasion were Abdul Rashid, Mushtaq Ahmed, Shabnam, Jano Begum, Murso, Mohammad Sharif, Manna, Parveen Akhtar and others.
