UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: Priti Khajuria, a social worker and active member of Inner Wheel Club Udhampur was declared elected as Udhampur District head during election for the same, which was held at Gurdaspur.
She won with a huge margin by securing 62 votes, out of total 75. There are about 42 Clubs in District 307, which include Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir and all these woman clubs are doing charity work for the betterment of society in one way or another way.
Priti Khajuria has been able to make a place in the District Executive Body and in future, she will become Chairperson of District 307.
Priti Khajuria said that it was not her individual win but joint effort of everyone and obviously victory of Udhampur IWC.
Along with Priti Khajuria, Neelam Baigra, Mohini Baigra, Manju Baru, Anu Sanson, Neelam Buccha, Sumriti Dogra, Usha Kiran and Sunita Prasher were also present in the conference at Gurdaspur.
