Private hospitals

Sir,
There is no doubt about it that the medical care facilities in J&K State are far more cheaper than the other states of our country. There is, of course, a large network of private hospitals and nursing homes in the State. But due to lack of supervision, check and control of the State Government over these hospitals and nursing homes, they have become money minting machines for their owners. People below middle class especially under privileged classes are not in a position to afford their services.
It is very unfortunate that even charitable hospitals and nursing homes are misusing the word charity. Very recently Narayanan hospital started functioning at Kakreyal Katra. It was expected that people would be provided concessional treatment here. But nothing like  that is happening. The said hospital is well equipped and well provided assistance by Vaishno Devi Shrine Board with a huge capital from the amount donated by the disciples of Goddess.
As per the observations the medical care facilities of this hospital seems to be very expensive meant for higher classes only. Keeping in view the wishes and expectations of the disciples of Mata Vaishno Devi, the Governor of J&K who is also the chairman of the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is requested to please order the hospital administration to provide either free or concessional medical care facilities to the poor and underprivileged people of the State.
Yours etc…
