SRINAGAR, Apr 11: Parents of students of various private schools have said that new classes are yet to start for after mass promotion of students of Kashmir zone and schools have started taking first term examinations.
Parents of students of Burnhall school told Excelsior that Government announced the mass promotion of the student last month only and schools were mostly closed due to swine flu and floods. They said that school has started taking class tests of the students when they have attended new classes only for a week.
They said that the school is starting first term and second term examinations from April 20 and it is having negative impact on the students who were last week grappling with flood threat and majority of them had fled their homes.
The parents of students of other private schools have also complained that the school authorities are putting extra burden on the students. They have appealed the Education Minister that schools should not put extra burden of the students.
