JAMMU Apr 22: Priya Sethi, National Executive Member (NEM), BJP and former Minister, today embarked on a strategic door-to-door campaign to mobilize support for party’s candidate for Jammu Reasi Parliament constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma.
The former Minister while intensifying door to door campaigns in support of Jugal in Ward Number 2, 3, 6, 10, 15 and 17 of Jammu East constituency appealed people to vote for BJP. During the campaign, senior leaders namely Parveen Kerni (East Mandal president), Anil Masoom, Nidhi Magotra and Narotam Sharma, former councilors, Ajay Vaid publicity in charge were present.
Interacting with residents of East constituency, the former Minister said that the NDA Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has transformed Jammu and Kashmir and cleared the mess created by Congress and its allies over the last 70 years. She highlighted the BJP’s track record in governance, citing initiatives such as economic reforms, infrastructure development, social welfare programmes and national security measures over the past decade, with a particular emphasis on developments in Jammu and Kashmir since 2019.
“For over 70 years, the Congress neglected the aspirations and development needs of the people of Jammu & Kashmir,” she said, adding that generations were denied the opportunities and advancements that should have been their birthright.”
The senior BJP leader asserted that this Union Territory, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Modi, has witnessed a concerted effort to address longstanding issues and chart a path towards inclusive growth as per his cherished agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.
“The Modi Government’s policies prioritize the welfare and prosperity of every individual, regardless of their background or beliefs,” she said, adding that this inclusivity is the cornerstone of our governance approach.
Priya Sethi observed that people have made their mind to support PM Modi in ensuing Lok Sabha polls. “With an unwavering confidence in Modi’s leadership and a deep-seated trust in his vision for the nation, the people of Jammu & Kashmir have whole heartedly pledged their support for him in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” she added.
