JAMMU, June 17: National executive member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former minister Priya Sethi along with Manish Sharma (senior BJP leader and former VC JAKFED) released a Bhajan series titled ‘Hudh Kund Ki Rani’ in a function held, here today.
The Bhajan series has been prepared and produced by the Managing Committee of Shri Hudh Mata and Trisandhiya Yatra, Dachhan, and its sub-committee, Jammu. It features local singers of Dachhan who have composed and sung the bhajans in the honour and praise of Shri Mata Rani. The bhajan series aims to make wider publicity of the holy shrines of Shri Hudh Mata, Trisandhiya Mata and their annual yatra. The melodious bhajans shall attract devotees who shall come to know about the existing holy shrines which are not in the knowledge of the devotees and religious-minded persons.
Jagdish Raj Thakur (president of SHMTYM Sub-Committee, Jammu) said the Committee has framed a Bhajan Mandali in Jammu to publicize the Holy Shrine by conducting Jagratas. These members are giving their free service for the publicity of Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra, and the offerings of Jagrata are deposited directly in the account of Mata Rani. He requested the Government to start Heli services to these shrines so that a large number of pilgrims can perform this pilgrimage.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya Sethi congratulated the managing committee of Shri Hudh Mata and Trisandhiya Yatra for producing this album. She praised the high production quality and applauded the managing committee for making adequate arrangements and providing facilities to visiting devotees.
