JAMMU, Sept 15: National Executive member, BJP and former Minister, Priya Sethi today strongly countered the misleading statement made by Congress regarding unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a baseless political tactic to mislead the public.
She asserted that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Government has launched several transformative initiatives to create job opportunities and empower the youth across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir.
While during door to door campaigning for BJP candidate in Jammu the former Minister strongly reacted to the Congress leader’s false claims. She further added that Congress couldn’t even release its manifesto till date so what J & K people can expect from a grand old party of India is a big question.
Priya Sethi emphasized that the Modi Government has taken unprecedented steps to ensure employment generation and skill development, giving young people more opportunities than ever before.
“The Congress is trying to manipulate the narrative for political gains. Under PM Modi’s leadership, the youth have been at the center of every policy decision, whether it’s education, entrepreneurship, or employment. The launch of schemes like Make in India, Startup India, Skill India, and the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has empowered millions of young Indians to pursue their dreams and contribute to the nation’s growth,” Sethi said.
While campaigning door to door for BJP, the former Minister was accompanied by Gopal Mahajan, corporator Adarsh SC general secretary, Annu Gupta district vice president, Savita Anand, Anuradha, Ram Lubhaya and others.
Highlighting the strides made in Jammu and Kashmir post the abrogation of Article 370, Priya Sethi noted that new avenues for private and public investments have opened, driving growth in sectors like tourism, infrastructure, IT, and manufacturing. These developments have directly contributed to job creation in the Union Territory.
“The Congress should introspect on its own record of unemployment during its decades in power. It is under the Modi Government that we have witnessed rapid infrastructural development, increased tourism, and enhanced skill training programs, all contributing to job creation.
