JAMMU, Mar 31: Highlighting the pro-people initiatives taken by the Union Government, former Minister and MLA Priya Sethi said that the Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken landmark initiatives in the country and a new era of growth, development and prosperity has been launched.
She said the international image of the nation has improved and multi-national corporations are investing hugely in the country.
“Modi Ji is working to restore the age old glory of India in the world order and special emphasis is being laid on the ‘Make in India’ campaign,” she added.
Priya Sethi and Vice-president BJP, Yudhvir Sethi have organized a mega Jan Sampark rally in the Ward No. 10. The rally was organized to highlight the policies and  programmes of the BJP and to make people aware about the various pro-people initiatives taken by the Government both at the Centre as well as the State.
The rally started from Pucca Danga Booth Number 31 and culminated at Booth Number 37.
While addressing the rally, Yudhvir said that exemplary pro-people initiatives have been taken by the Central Government and landmark programmes and schemes have ensured that common man of the nation gets benefits extended by the Government.
He said the BJP Government has ensured that banking facilities reach to everyone and by Jan Dhan initiative the benefits would be directly transferred into the accounts of the beneficiary.
“Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Jivan Jyoti Yojna, Atal Pension Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, soft loans for small business units are some of the schemes from which people should take maximum benefits,” he reiterated.
Prominent among others who attended the rally included Chander Mohan Gupta (State Cashier & Prabhari East Constituency), Baldev Singh Billowria (district president), Anil Masoom and Ashwani Mahajan District vice presidents, Sunil Sharma district general secretary, Ramesh Gupta and others.
