JAMMU, Aug 12: People’s Revolutionary Movement (PRM) today held a protest demonstration and demanded absorption of newly selected teachers from all districts.
Newly selected teachers under the banner of PRM assembled at exhibition ground and raised slogans against the Government.
Addressing the gathering, Rajinder Jamwal, PRM leader, stated that the present Coalition Government has proved as complete failure in all fronts.
He said that teachers selected in all districts have not been allowed to join despite their selection for more than a year, thereby mocking and ridiculing the system as a whole.
Jamwal added that the newly selected teachers from all the districts are in doll drums as they could not opt for any other alternative due to their pending joining.
Demanding immediate joining of the newly appointed teachers in all the districts, Jamwal warned of dire consequences in case the Government failed to make the newly appointed teachers join at the earliest.
