JAMMU, June 16: Prof Archana Kesar has been appointed as Head of the Dogri Department in Jammu University replacing Professor Shiv Dev Singh Manhas.
The appointment of Prof Archana Kesar has been affected by implementing the earlier order, which was kept in abeyance on February 20 in the wake of a controversy over missing of some answer scripts.
Pertinent to mention that some answer scripts of M Phil course in Dogri subject had got misplaced in January early this year following which the university had lodged an FIR with the police and constituted a high-level committee to conduct probe into the matter.
However, on March 10, the University had received the misplaced answer scripts, which were wrapped in an envelope and sent through post under mysterious circumstances.
