JAMMU, Jan 21: The third Vice Chancellor of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) Prof RNK Bamezai was given warm farewell by the faculty and staff.
Dr Vandhana Sharma, Director of the School of Languages and Literature, highlighted the popular traits of Prof Bamezai during his term as Vice Chancellor.
Deans of various colleges, Registrar, Finance Officer and Librarian expressed their experiences of working under the stewardship of Prof Bamezai.
Prof Bamezai advised one and all to continue working with a sense of commitment.
Roop Avtar Kaur, Registrar of the University on behalf of all members presented a memento as a token of love and affection to Vice Chancellor.
The formal farewell programme was given a musical tenor with melodious singing performances by Rajan Badyal.
