JAMMU, Jan 31: Son of the soil Prof Rattan Lal Hangloo, Vice Chancellor Central University Allahabad has been conferred with this year’s (2016) Mother Teresa International Award for being an eminent educationist.
The Award was presented to him at Kolkata by Archbishop of Kolkata.
Prof Hangloo who originally belongs to a village Hangalgund in district Anantnag of Kashmir Valley has served as VC in Kalyani University Kolkata before his present assignment at Allahabad.
Prof Hangloo who is former Head, Department of History, School of Social Sciences, former Dean and Chief Proctor, University of Hyderabad is presently on deputation to CU Allahabad as VC.
