Prof Hari Om’s book hit stands

JAMMU, Sept 19: The book “Jammu Kashmir Ladakh: Different Political Terrains” authored by Prof Hari Om hit the stands today.
The book deals with the general elections 2024, victory of the BJP in Jammu and Udhampur as well as erosion in its support-base and the causes behind the erosion in its support-base, humiliating defeat of former Chief Ministers, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, in Kashmir and triumph of united Kargil over the vertically divided Buddhist Leh.
The book also deals with the nature of State politics and political parties in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and their origin, leadership and ideology throws light on the poll planks on which the BJP and the Kashmiri parties, including the National Conference, the Congress, the People’s Democratic Party, the Peoples Conference and the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, fought the elections.
