JAMMU, Mar 31: Prof J P Sharma, Vice-chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology, Jammu, has been assigned additional charge of Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-Kashmir till further order.
The order of assigning additional charge was issued today by the office of Lt Governor, J&K, who is Chancellor of both the universities.
The order in this regard was necessitated as Prof Mushtaq Ahmad, Director Extension SKUAST-Kashmir, who was also holding the charge of VC, superannuated today on retirement and the Selection Committee constituted for drawing up a panel of names for appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor SKUAST- Kashmir would take some time to conclude.
