Prof Me’raj-ud-Din is officiating VC CUK

SRINAGAR, Mar 3: Professor Me’raj-ud-Din Mir, Dean School of Legal Studies and senior most professor, today assumed the charge as officiating Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Kashmir.
Professor Me’raj-ud-Din Mir has worked in different capacities in the Kashmir University. He has served as Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Dean Students Welfare, Head and Dean, Faculty of Law in the University of Kashmir. Prof. Me’raj did his PhD, LLB and LL.M from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh Uttar Pradesh. He has also authored books on diverse subjects and has many publications on Crime, Police, Judiciary and other related issues to his credit.
Professor Mir is a recipient of national and international awards including the fellowship of Max Plank Institute of International Criminal Law (Germany), MOST (UNESCO), LOSOU Consultant Malaysia and ISC Fellowship.
