Jammu, May 4: Prof Neelam Saraf from Hindi Department, University of Jammu was awarded with Doctor of Letters by the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra on the topic” Hindi Lekhekikayon Ke Upnayason Mein Samajik Samasayen”.
She has become the only professor among the present serving faculty of JU, who is recipient of D.Lit. Prof. Saraf is a senior most professor at University of Jammu. Formerly head of Hindi department and Dean Academic Affair, Prof. Saraf was also awarded by Central Hindi Directorate, Union HRD Ministry for authoring a book, Upnayas: Ek Sanskritic Yatra.
