JAMMU, Oct 30: Prof Falendra Kumar Sudan, Department of Economics, University of Jammu has been awarded a Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) funded project under e-PG Pathshala programme of University Grants Commission (UGC) to work on the Development of course materials for Master Degree Programme in population studies with a total grant of Rs 1.12 crore for one year.
Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu congratulated Prof Falendra Kumar Sudan his achievement and assured all support to complete endeavour.
It is pertinent to mention here that faculty members of Department of Economics, University of Jammu along with University of Kashmir, Punjabi University, Patiala, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Institute for Human Development, New Delhi, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Lucknow, National Council of Applied Manpower Research, New Delhi, besides other institutes will also be roped in for successful competition of the project.
