RAJOURI, Nov 29: Dr Ali Asghar Shah Dean Academic Affairs, BGSBU inaugurated annual culture function on `9 Years of Seva Sushasan aur Garib Kalyan, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Mission LiFE, ” Swachhta and allied themes an Integrated Outreach and Communication Programme being organized by Central Bureau of Communication, Rajouri, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, here today.
Dr Asgar was the chief guest while Ghulam Abbas Chaudhary, Joint Director CBC and PIB J&K presided over the function along with faculty of BGSBU, staff of CBC J&K and representatives.
While addressing the gathering Dr Asghar enlightened the audience about various schemes related to Higher Education. He appreciated focused awareness regarding Years of Seva Sushasan aur Garib Kalyan, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Mission LiFE, ” Swachhta and various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and initiatives of district administration about which resource persons of various departments are giving information.
Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director, CBC & Press Information Bureau, J&K and Ladak in his welcome address said that Governments of India has various schemes for an individual can avail right. He expressed gratitude towards district administration and authorities of BGSB, University for their cooperation and support. He urged the audience to spread the message of the event among common masses to visit the venue as the exhibition which will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
Farah Jabeen, Sub. Inspector, J&K, Police Rajouri also addressed the gathering and enlightened the audience about various schemes related to ill effects of drug abuse. Dr. Shah Riyaz from Health Department spoke about the schemes related to their respective departments.
All the guests and speakers, winning students of National Public HSS and Delhi Public School, Rajouri (Drawing Completion and Culture activities), students were honoured by CBC Rajouri.
A mesmerizing theme based cultural programme by artists of CBC enthralled the audience.
