JAMMU, Jan 9: Sangam Tru Art Production of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanasthan (BLSKS) here today in collaboration with district administration, ICDS and Regional Outreach Bureau organized special campaign on ‘Poshan Abhiyan’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, K.L Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda. Among the guests of honour were Kishore Kumar and Raj Kumar.
The programme started with songs based on the topic of ‘Poshan Abhiyan’.
Special skits prepared on the theme were presented.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest said that ‘Poshan Abhiyaan’ was launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan in March 2018. “It aims to reduce level of stunting, under-nutrition, anaemia among young children, women and adolescent girls, low birth rate and other related problems by ensuring convergence of various nutrition related schemes and by setting-up nutrition resource centres, involving masses through Jan Andolan for their participation on nutrition through various activities, among the people.
