Some months ago, there was a debate on the intolerance in the country. Big guns from various fields unfolded their opinions. Award Wapsi Brigade was in action. But why there is complete silence on the fatwa and threatening given to a Muslim girl Razia whose fault is that she teaches and demonstrates Yoga to the students and that too without reciting any religious mantra?
From the debates, we get an idea that various Muslim religious leaders are also of the opinion that yoga is an exercise and has no religion if exercised without any religious mantra. Then why this girl has been threatened? It is an era when the whole globe is liberalised. It is an age when inert-caste and intercommunity marriages are solemnised. It is a time when any racial comment is taken as an offence. It is an era when criminals like Asaram and Ram Rahim have been sentenced. It is the period when we try to know the basis of all the religions. And if it is so why to imprison our minds by showing a mere might without having any background.
