Prohit Sabha Martand flays Govts for neglecting Hindu religious places

Jammu, Mar 4: Prohit Sabha Martand flayed the State and the Central Government for neglecting Hindu religious/historic shrines in Kashmir.
Addressing the media persons, the president of the Trust, MK Yogi expreseed anguish over the total neglect of the Govt in addressing the burning problems of Kashmiri Hindu religious places in general and Martand Tirath Shrine in particular, which was witnessed during Amar Nath Yatra as the pilgrims perform their religious rituals by paying obeisance in the shape of piter kriya/sharad  at Mattan Spring after performing Amar Nath Yatra.
He said the kriya places commonly known as Chaka are in bad shape as they remained unattended since the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley, adding that in other States, the religious places with lesser importance get more attention.
The members said that the indifferent treatment given by the Government with regard to preserving Hindu religious Shrines will givew a set back to the much hyped return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.
