JAMMU, Aug 23: Prominent people joined BJP at a function held here at Eden Gardens in presence of senior leaders of the Party today.
Those who joined the BJP included Aditi Sharma, a young pilot and grand daughter of Late Sham Lal Sharma, Vibagh Sangchalak, Prof Gauri Department of Chemistry, JU, Shiv Lal Sharma, ex Additional Secretary Law, Ch Mohammed Sadiq Nag, K P Singh, Retd DySP, Ashok Sharma, Retd CEO Arun K Verma, CA Advocate Asgar Hussian Shah, Ch. Bashir Ahmed, Raj Kumar Verma, Tariq Hussian Keen, Dr B K Raina, retd BMO, Gurmeet Randhwa, Arun Pal Singh, Col (retd) Harpal Singh, Dyan Singh retd Lecturer, Subash Sharma, Owner Eden Garden, Veena Gurtoo, Parl Charak and Puppy Muttoo.
They were welcomed into Party fold by BJP State president Jugal Kishore Sharma, Leader of Legislative Party, Ashok Khajuria, National Executive Member Shamsher Singh Manhas, State general secretaries, Kavinder Gupta and Bali Bhagat.
Addressing the gathering Jugal Kishore Sharma said that onset of Modi era in the country and State BJP’s Mission 44+ have enthused the entire populace of the State and all right thinking social activists and intellectuals are joining the Party. The BJP is fully conscious of the pulse of the public who have got fed up with the nepotistic, corrupt, scams laced governance of Congress, NC, PDP since 1947 in the State.
Ashok Khajuria said the forthcoming elections are going to change the political discourse of the State for integration and strengthening the national bonds.
