JAMMU, Feb 3: Ahead of upcoming Parliamentary elections, a two-time MLC from NC and prominent Gujjar leader, Haji Mohammed Hussain, here today joined BJP along with hundreds of supporters.
BJP State general secretary (organization), Ashok Koul; party senior leaders, Devender Rana, Kuldeep Dubey and District Jammu president, Parmod Kapahi were also present on the occasion.
Welcoming the former MLC into BJP, Ashok Koul said that people in large number are joining BJP from across J&K.
“The people have realized that BJP is the only party which has real concern and pain for every section of the society,” he maintained adding that the Gujjar community had been exploited by non-BJP Governments for vote bank politics and they did nothing in practical for their welfare and well-being.
Koul further said that with each passing day, tall leaders of other parties are shifting their loyalties towards BJP and are taking pledge to ensure the return of Narendra Modi as PM for third consecutive term.
He claimed that the day is not far when only lotus will bloom in entire length and breadth of J&K.
Devender Rana said that joining of Haji Mohammed Hussain will further strengthen the party’s standing in Gujjar community.
Kuldeep Dubey and Parmod Kapahi also spoke on the occasion.
