Proper connectivity to all areas top priority of Govt: Randhawa

JAMMU, Oct 16: Proper road connectivity is the key to development and economic upliftment of every area and BJP Government is committed to provide all weather road connectivity to all the areas of Jammu and Kashmir. It was stated by the former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, while kick-starting black-topping work of a road in Sector-1, Sanjay Nagar in Ward No-46 of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment in presence of Vinay Gupta district president of the BJP.
While speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that the Government is very keen to improve the infrastructure of Jammu and Kashmir and a mega project has been launched under which many roads would be black-topped. He said that roads are the basic requirement for development of any area as without road connectivity the economic health of the area and people as well cannot be enhanced.
He also enlisted various welfare schemes launched by the Government in the recent passed and urged upon the people to come forward to avail the benefits under these schemes.
He said that the health insurance scheme is one among such initiatives under which every family would get an insurance of Rs five lakh and can avail treatment in reputed hospitals of the country. He also called upon the party cadres to aware common masses regarding the welfare schemes of the Government so that they can register themselves and avail its benefits.
