JAMMU, Dec 4: A property dealer was attacked by a group of miscreants with sharp-edged weapons allegedly over a property dispute at Shastri Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar Police Station.
As per police sources, property dealer identified as Vijay Singh, son of Faqir Singh of Nai Basti, was going somewhere, when a group of miscreants intercepted his car near Shastri Nagar and attacked him with sharp-edged weapons.
The accused after committing the offence escaped from the spot.
The victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be critical when last reports poured in.
One of the miscreants identified as Jarnail Singh of Greater Kailash has been arrested while hunt to nab the absconding Babbar of RS Pura is on.
In this regard, a case under relevant Sections stands registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station.
