Property dealers held, DySP booked

JAMMU, Oct 27: Domana police today arrested two property dealers and has booked three others including a DySP for allegedly kidnapping a doctor and, beating up him and forcing him to sign some property related documents at Barnai in Domana area.
Police said the FIR was lodged on court directions.
Property dealers-Madhu Soodan and Ankush Soodan have been arrested on the basis of the FIR lodged against them. Others named in the FIR included DySP Madan Mohan Singh and property dealers-Sunil Kumar alias Vicky and Kishore Kumar.
Madhu Soodan and Kishore Kumar were presently putting up at Choudhary Lane, Roop Nagar.
All of them have been booked under Sections 364, 342, 149, 504, 506, 109 and 120-B RPC in FIR No. 357/2012 at Domana police station.
Police said the accused had kidnapped Dr Bubble Kumar son of Krishan Chand R/o Kot from Barnai and took him to the house of Madhu Soodan. Later, he was taken to the house of Madan Mohan Singh where he was tied with a rope and beaten up. He was asked to forcibly sign property related documents, which he refused.
The doctor managed to escape from the house on the pretext of urinating.
Sources said the doctor approached the court, which issued directions to Domana police station to registered a case against all accused.
Police said their teams headed by SHO Domana Inspector Vijay Choudhary conducted raids at the houses of all accused after registering a case against them but could arrest only two of them while others were not present at their residences. Raids were being conducted to nab other accused.
Police said the doctor had complained that the accused had beaten up him and asked him to sign property related documents forcibly.
