Property of woman drug peddler worth lakhs attached

JAMMU, June 3: Police in Jammu district claimed today they have attached a property of a woman drug peddler worth lakhs in the Rajeev Nagar locality.
Under Operation Sanjeevani, the residential house of one Shakeela of Rajeev Nagar Jammu was attached Under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act 1985 said SP, South Ajay Sharma.
The residential house was identified as illegally acquired from the proceeds of illicit trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances by the accused woman, he said.
According to the police spokesperson, the accused woman was involved in different cases of NDPS registered at Police Station Bahu Fort.
It is important to mention here that in the last one month, police have frozen three properties worth crores in Rajiv Nagar and Ragoora areas under Police Stations Bahu Fort and Bagh-e-Bahu.
