SRINAGAR : Property worth crores has been destroyed in a devastating fire in the Hazratbal area here today, official sources said.
They said the fire broke out at Dhobigate behind the NIIT, about 10 km from here.
Fire tenders from different parts of the city were rushed to the area to control the leaping flames, visible from a distance.
The sources said property worth crores, including houses and boats was destroyed in the fire.
The cause of fire was not known, a police officer said. (AGENCIES)
