SRINAGAR, Dec 15:
Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted when fire broke out in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today.
They said fire broke out in a house at Beighpora Bagh-e-Mehtab in the uptown early this morning. However, before the fire tenders could reach there, fire spread to other nearby houses.
Three houses and other household goods were damaged in the fire, they said, adding that there was no report of any injury.
A house and other household goods were reduced to ashes at Briver Achan on the city outskirts.
The cause of the fire was not known, they said. (UNI)
