JAMMU, May 17: Property worth lakhs gutted in a fire which broke out in a house due to sudden explosion in an Air Conditioner (AC) at Bakshi Nagar area of the winter capital.
As per reports, house old items worth lakhs gutted due to sudden blast in an AC in the house of one Kamaljeet Singh near Shopping complex, Bakshi Nagar.
On getting information, fire tender and fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames, but by that time, property worth lakhs were gutted.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
