KATHUA, May 7: Bani Police today arrested the proprietor of a tuition centre of village Bugg for allegedly outraging the modesty of a minor girl whom he had engaged as a tutor in the institute.
The police has registered a case under FIR No 35/2018 U/S 376 against the proprietor of the institute, Sanjay Kumar S/o Sher Singh of Bugg tehsil Bani for allegedly outraging the modesty of a minor girl.
Police said the girl will be taken for medical examination tomorrow.
It said a written report was lodged by one Yog Raj S/o Girdhari Lal R/o Bugg Kanthal, tehsil Bani that Sanjay Kumar has outraged the modesty of his 16 year old daughter several times for last four months. On the basis of the complaint the FIR was registered in the Police Station against the proprietor of the institute and investigation has been started.
