JAMMU, Apr 1: Principal Sessions Judge Bhaderwah has acquitted four accused namely Bodh Raj, Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Suman Kumar in a murder case as prosecution failed to prove the case.
After hearing both the sides, the court observed, “there is absolutely no evidence regarding motive of the axccused to commit the alleged crime. Though one witness has stated that there was dispute between the accused and the deceased but there is no evidence on the file to support this fact”.
“No other witness of the prosecution including the investigating officer has attributed motive of this crime against the accused”, the court said, adding absence of motive weighs in favour of the accused.
