Protection to whistle blowers

Sir,
Why should there be no law in our state to protect those who opt to help the Government or other Governmental investigating agencies and anti corruption bodies with providing information and details about those who were indulging in corrupt practices and amassing wealth and assets disproportionate to their known incomes. When a law has been made at the centre which protects whistle blowers , why should this state lag behind? Has the Law Department of the State prepared any draft of the law or has there been the issue on the agenda of the cabinet meetings in the state? The State should encourage disclosure of such information from any individual who knows who where and when has indulged in malpractices to grow richer. Fighting the battle against corruption shall become meaningful only when whistle blowers Act is in vogue.
Yours etc…
