JAMMU: The residents of Kailash Nagar, Pacca Gharat held a protest demonstration on Tillab Tillo Road against contaminated water being supplied to them.
The residents raised slogans against ERA, PHE and added that crores of rupees have been spent on sewerage project but the pipes have become defunct due to repair works and now they have indulged in blame game. They added that some hoteliers were putting the sewerage waste in these pipes which become over flow and waste of sewerage starts flowing in the by lanes. They demand immediate repair of these pipes.
They threatened that if their demands were not looked into, they will adopt agitational path.
