POONCH, Aug 3: The people from Dera Nangali Sahib and nearby villages held protest demonstration against R&B Department and blocked road for about two hours today.
The villagers alleged that road to Nangali Sahib and also to the nearby Ziarat of Sai Baba Miran Sahib was in bad shape and the R&B authorities failed to repair it. They claimed that despite several requests, the road repair work was not initiated. They sat on dharna on this road and stalled the movement of traffic. Later, senior officers from the district administration reached there and they pacified the agitating people. On their assurance, the road was cleared.
