POONCH, Apr 21: The people held protest demonstration against officials of BDO Block Mendhar (RDD authorities) for not releasing payments of the works and demanding high commission from the people involved in the works.
Today a group of people earlier held protest at BDO office Mendhar and then moved to the office of Tehsildar M R Mughal and after brief protest there lodged written complaint against the local Panchayat Secretary/ VLW. Tehsildar assured inquiry into the matter.
ACR Poonch Shafiq Ahmed who is holding the charge of SDM, when contacted said that he would initiate inquiry and action will be taken against the accused officials.
RDD Minister, Abdul Haq Khan said that he would definitely act and will take harsh step against any official found involved in such activities.
