JAMMU, Mar 22: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) here today staged a protest demonstration against the soaring prices of LPG, petrol, diesel and other essential commodities.
The protest was led by JWAM president, Sunil Dimple and the protestors raised slogans against rising prices of essential commodities.
Addressing protesters Sunil Dimple said that the government has badly failed to control prices of essential commodities which have reached beyond the reach of a common man.
He said that petrol, diesel and LPG should be brought under GST.
Sita Ram Rakwal, Dev Raj, Babu, Raju Kumar, Rakesh, Ashwani Gupta, Mukesh, Vipan Gupta, Jetinder Gupta, Ram Kumar Das and others were also present on the occasion.
