RAMBAN, Sept 20: A massive protest was staged by hundreds of people including workers of Chenani-Nashri tunnel project over arrest of three employees on the complaint of Leighton Private Limited.
According to the police, three employees of Chenani-Nashri tunnel project namely Milkhi Ram, Mashkoor Ahmed and Rashid Malik were arrested by Batote Police on the complaint lodged by Leighton Private Limited.
The company in his complaint said that these workers were provoking employees against the company in violation of rules and regulations.
Meanwhile, large number of people from Batote, including workers of Chenani-Nashri tunnel project assembled outside Police Station Batote and demanded immediate release of the arrested persons.
