SRINAGAR, Apr 21: Announcing protest across the State on April 25, Jammu Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum has alleged delay tactics in converting ReT teachers into Grade-II Teachers and non-release of their pending salaries.
In a handout the Forum stated that during a meeting its Chairman, F.A Tantray discussed the problems of ReT teachers.
Speaking in the meeting, Tantray referred to his recent meeting with Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan wherein early solution to the problems of the Forum was assured.
He said that teachers are in mental trauma due to financial and other problems related to their service.
During the meeting Tantray said that some unknown reasons of delay tactics have forced the teachers to come to streets.
The Forum ultimately announced a protest on April 25 both at Press Enclave Srinagar and in Press Club Jammu in favour of their demands.
