UDHAMPUR, Sept 4: Student of Government Primary School, Foungari and locals staged a protest demonstration demanding kitchen shed at the school.
The protesters raised slogans against the Education Department and Udhampur district administration.
They alleged that from the last two years the concerned In-charge Headmaster of the School has been giving written report to the ZEO Kulwanta but no fund has been released to repair the kitchen shed due to which there are problems during rainy days while cooking mid-day meal for the students.
The school has 40-50 students and last year heavy rains damaged the shed leaving the students to suffer since then.
Locals informed that many times they brought the matter into the notice of concerned authorities but nothing fruitful emerged in this direction.
