Protest held on illegal occupation of Ram Kund Temple land

POONCH, Aug 31: The Hindu community in Mendhar sub-division today staged a protest demonstration against the illegal occupation of Ram Kund Temple land.
According to Reports, people of various organizations of the Hindu community gathered in the Hanuman temple of Mendhar, where they protested over alleged illegal occupation of the Temple land.
Ram Kund Mandir Committee president Ranjit Sharma alleged that the person who lives near the Temple has illegally occupied the Temple land and despite informing the administration time and again in last several years about illegal occupation of the land, no one took notice of the same.
Several people of the Hindu community including Balram Sharma, Davinder Tandon, Sonu Sharma, Satish Sharma and others made grave allegations against the Revenue Department. They said that the Temple documents have been tampered with, which should be investigated.
The protesters reached the SDM office via main market of Mendhar where they submitted a memorandum to the SDM Mendhar. The protesters demanded action against the person who illegally occupied the land.
SDPO Mendhar Sheejan Bhatt along with SHO Nayaz Ahmed reached the protest site where he assured the protesters that action would be taken against the accused without any delay.
