UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: Alleging failure of Public Health Engineering (PHE) in providing adequate water supply to them, the residents of ward number 17 today held a massive protest against the PHE Department.
The protestors raised slogans against the PHE Department for no supply of drinking water for last 10 days. They said that with no regular supply of drinking water, people of the area have been suffering badly and their normal life has affected.
“Many a times, the matter was brought into the notice of the concerned authorities but all in vain,” they said even they staged protests many a times in last several years but no action was taken to solve the issue of drinking water till date.
