MENDHAR, May 1: Members of Kissan Mazdoor Union held protest demonstration at Shahidi Yadgar Mendhar today and then moved to the SDM office and submitted a memorandum there.
The members of the labour class led by Union leader Abdul Majid assembled at Sahidi Yadgar and staged protest against corruption and non-payment of the MNREGA workers. They shouted slogans in support of their demands. After staging protest there for about two hours, then they moved towards the office of SDM and sat on dharna. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the SDM along with charter of demands after he arrived to his office in the afternoon.
