SRINAGAR, Nov 24: Residents of Drusoo village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district today held a protest and blocked Shopian, Pulwama road against the mysterious death of a driver who had been missing from last few days.
Pulwama police said that Firdous Ahmad Hurrah had went missing on November 8 and the family registered a missing report on November 11.
The residents were demanding impartial probe into his death so that the culprits could be dealt with iron hand.
Although we registered missing report 15 days ago but police took no action,” alleged one of the demonstrators.
The dead body of Firdous Ahmad Hurrah was recovered yesterday evening at Larkipora Awantipora.
