RS PURA, June 13: National Secular Forum (NSF) organized a massive protest rally from Girls Higher Secondary School to Tehsil Office against Director School Education (DSE), here today.
The Forum demanded that all the old subjects (Political Science, Sociology, History and Sanskrit) being taught presently in the school should be continued as these subjects have maximum enrollment in school. They said although these are the most important subjects from career point of view, yet the Director School Education has excluded these important subjects.
The Forum members criticized the wrong and useless decision of Director School Education for excluding these subjects from 11th class.
It was also demanded to provide faculty for the new subjects introduced in the school as early as possible.
Meanwhile, NSF presented a memorandum short listing a number of important issues and demands in the interest of student community to Tehsildar RS Pura, who assured to forward the matter to the concerned higher authorities.
