Protest rally taken out against Chinese incursion

JWAM activists burning the effigies and flags of China and Pakistan during a protest rally at Jammu.

JAMMU, Apr 24: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today take out a protest rally against the Chinese incursion in Ladakh Sector and demanded Prime Minister, Defence Minister and Chief of the Army staff to give a befitting reply to the China.
The rally besides JWAM activists was thronged by the shopkeepers and local residents of Janipur and Newplot areas, who burnt the effigies and flags of China and Pakistan.
They raised slogans against the China and Pakistan for their frequent bids of incursion in Indian territory, the most recent being by China in Ladakh.
Addressing the Protestors, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple, said that it is not for the first time that the China PLA has built bunkers inside the Indian territory.
He said that the China has encroached hundred kilometers of Indian land at Gilgit Blatistan and constructed its Tunnels, Railway lines and Dams on the Indian land for abetting terrorism in the J&K State and the country.
He came heavily on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for stressing on withdrawal of AFSPA and demilitarization of the State and advised him to instead pay attention towards the LoC. Being Chief Minister of the State, it is his responsibility to safeguard the territories of the State, he asserted.
Dimple demanded the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Defence Minister of India, AK Antony and Army Chief, General Vikram Singh to give a befitting reply to the China and Pakistan and get back the Indian land from the illegal occupation of the Pakistan and China.
Dimple appealed the Prime Minister of India to out rightly reject the demands of separatists and PDP of withdrawal of AFSPA and demilitarization in the J&K State.
