Protest rally taken out against non-availability of ration

JAMMU, Apr 20: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today take out a protest rally from the main bazaars of Janipur and New Plot areas against the non-availability of ration in the Government Ration Depots.
Large number of traders and prominent citizens under the leadership of Sunil Dimple, president, JWAM, staged dharnas on Janipur-High Court Road and raised slogans the State Government for its failure to provide atta, rice, sugar and kerosene oil to the common masses.
They alleged that the poor families of Jammu West Constituency have not got ration for the month of April till today.
Addressing the protestors, Dimple demanded the Government to ensure adequate and timely supply of atta, sugar and kerosene oil to Government Ration depots and warned the State Government that if the same is not restored by April 22, JWAM will stage dharna outside the office of Director, CAPD.
