MENDHAR, Aug 19: The resident of Kot Firozalla in Harni area today held protest demonstration against the PDD authorities at Harmutta in tehsil Mendhar today.
The villagers alleged that transformer went out of order about two weeks back but the authorities concerned have failed to replace it and install the new one or get the same repaired. The concerned field staff including JE were well aware of the issue but they failed to restore power. They raised slogans against AEE and Executive Engineer PDD Poonch and sought intervention of higher authorities.
